The one free plan limit that actually matters
It is often misread, so let us be precise.
What is not limited
The number of programs you create, and the number of customers who sign up. You can run three stamp cards with two thousand customers on the free plan, without paying a dollar.
What is
The type of program. The first one you create locks the type for all the others. If you start with a stamp card, you cannot add a session pass without moving to Solo.
What is never billed
The price you see is the price you pay. There is no second line on the invoice.
No commission
Aster takes nothing from your revenue. Ten visits a month or ten thousand, the amount stays the same.
No per-customer fee
Your customers cost nothing, at sign-up or after. They pay nothing either: Aster is free for them, always.
No hardware to buy
Your phone is enough. No terminal, no reader, no tablet. You display your QR code and scan with the app.
About payment
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The free plan asks for no payment method, and nothing starts automatically after a trial period. You move to Solo only if you decide to.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. The Solo subscription can be cancelled at any moment from your profile. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, then your account returns to the free plan. Your programs and customers are not deleted.
What happens if my payment fails?
Aster tells you in the app, for instance if your card has expired. You update your payment method and everything resumes. Your data stays untouched in the meantime.
Do my customers have to pay anything?
Never. Aster never asks your customers for banking details, since no payment between them and you goes through Aster. They pay at the counter as usual.
Is the price in Canadian dollars?
Yes, 19 CAD per month. The app can display your statistics in another currency if you prefer, but that is a display choice only: billing stays in Canadian dollars.
