Approve requests
This chapter concerns passes only, session or time based. If you only use stamp cards or points, you can skip it: your cards create themselves.
What happens, in order
The customer scans
They fill in the form as they would for any program.
They wait
A waiting screen appears on their phone. Their card does not exist yet.
They pay you
At the counter, with your usual register. Aster never touches that money.
You approve
Their card appears instantly on their phone, credited with their package.

Your list of requests
Each request shows the customer's first name, their number and the program concerned. Two buttons, and nothing else to decide.
- Approve creates the card and credits the full package. The customer sees it appear within a second.
- Decline dismisses the request. The customer is told on their waiting screen.
What can go wrong
The customer filled in the form twice, usually because they thought it had not worked. Handle the existing request; the second one was not created.
The customer already holds a running pass on this program. To sell them another package, top up their existing card rather than creating a second one.
Their request is in your list and has not been approved yet. This is a manual action: until someone taps the button, nothing happens. Get into the habit of checking that list at the end of service.
